Juneau Alaska and On-site Dining Choices

Pearson’s Pond Luxury Inn and Adventure Spa is pleased to offer a variety of dining options to our vacation resort guests. We offer delicious breakfasts here at the inn, a welcome reception each evening and private kitchenettes in each room. Nearby Juneau offers a wide array of restaurants and cafes for lunch and dinner meals.

Flexible Breakfast Offerings. In the summer months, enjoy a mid-morning breakfast with a hot entrée in our dining room or through room service. Healthy fresh ingredients for your hot or cold breakfast include protein grains, fruit, dairy or soy. Standard options include bacon, eggs, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, juice, fruit, milk and more.  Advance notice of special dining restrictions is appreciated.

For early and late risers, or non-summer travelers, our well stocked pantry provides lots of fresh ingredients for a self-prepared expanded continental breakfast. Pantry contents include proteins, grains, fruit, dairy, non-dairy and gluten-free offerings.

Of course, gourmet coffee and teas are available throughout the day.

Our Manager’s Welcome Reception in the Atrium Lounge or in the Gardens is a great time to meet other guests and share tales of your day’s adventures. The reception includes wine, cheese and fruit snacks, and is a nice interlude before you head off to dinner.

Private Guest Kitchenettes: Each guest room includes and en-suite kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and dishes/utensils. You can shop at the nearby grocery store and pick up easy lunch, snack and dinner items. We have most of the condiments on hand.

On request in summer, gather round the campfire in the garden, weather permitting. The inn provides marshmallows, chocolate and crackers for s’mores by the waterfall to relax, gather and meet new friends.

Flexible Scenic Dining Choice. You can dine in the dining room, enjoy room service, eat outdoors on the deck or in a garden gazebo, or fill a basket to enjoy breakfast while on your early morning flight or tour. If you are looking for cooked-to-order breakfasts, there are nearby restaurants, which are also good for lunch and dinner. Additionally we will be happy to arrange your catered meals upon request.

The two barbeques are popular for grilling your catch after a day of fishing, or a steak and veggies from a nearby grocer. The dining room also has a toaster oven that may be used by guests. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Expand your culinary horizons! Since lunch and dinner are on your own, sample local cuisine at nearby restaurants. Learn how to prepare traditional and fresh Alaskan bounty from the land and sea at Chez Alaska! Participate in the Juneau Food Tour which includes 6 tasting locations throughout downtown, plus a special toffee treat from Juneau’s Chef Stef, former chef at Alaska’s governor’s house.

Juneau offers a number of fine restaurants. Among our favorites are Salt, Tracy’s King Crab Shack, Twisted Fish, Hangar on the Wharf, Island Pub, The Gold Room and more. All serve a variety of fresh local foods, including the bounty of our abundant seas. All restaurants are casual, so dress comfortably.

Restaurant maps, menus, and reservations are available through our concierge. Book early!
