Black Wolf Exhibit

The long awaited Black Wolf exhibit at Mendenhall Glacier is finished! Although it doesn’t bear his name, this exhibit represents to many of us a very special black wolf named Romeo. Laurie Craig, one of our rangers in residence at the glacier, has provided us with these photos of the exhibit.

For those of you wanting to learn more about Romeo you can do so at http://www.alaskapublic.org/…/writer-nick-jans-captivates-…/ or by googling “Romeo the Wolf.”

  1. Good Job Nick Jans and the Forestry Service, great display. I was proud to make a small donation to honor Romeo.
